Welcome to the TEAM FREEDOM website. Our mission is simple yet important in that we strive to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day about the true meaning of Memorial Day. At the same time, we raise money for Veterans-related causes. We have raised tens of thousands of dollars for such causes as:  Salute America’s Heroes, The Fisher House, Wounded Warrior Project, National Guard Militia Museum of New Jersey Foundation and the USO. We strive to find charities that have low administrative costs and that have a direct impact on the lives of veterans and their families. Please note that 100% of your donation goes to the charity. Team Freedom is operated with 100% volunteer support and has no administrative costs.

Run With Team Freedom:

Join us for the 18th running of Team Freedom at the SL5. Over the years, we have had hundreds of runners and fans join Team Freedom. While the race is the key event of the weekend, we also have a pre-race pasta dinner the night before the race, meet to stretch the morning of the race and have a celebratory photo and drink after the race. We encourage anyone who wants to run with us or cheer us on to join Team Freedom. Every member of Team Freedom receives a FREE Team Freedom T-shirt and there is no charge for any Team Freedom event, though we do encourage donations to our charity, the American Widow Project.
