Schedule of Events for Team Freedom XIX

Please see below for the schedule for race weekend. There is no charge for any event though donations to the DAV are welcome. Every team member is welcome to all events – wearing Team Freedom XIX shirt and Team photo are mandatory, others are encouraged.

Friday 22 May
7pm – Pasta dinner – Wall Methodist Church at 2414 Old Mill Road, Spring Lake Heights, NJ 07762. Runners and their families are welcome, including kids. This is the time to pick up your shirt, have some pasta and mingle with the other Team Freedom members. It is casual but please do not arrive before 7pm.

Saturday 23 May
0715 – Meet and stretch at St. Catharine’s Grammar School at the corner of 2nd Ave and Salem Ave. The last few years, the school has been open and has restrooms and bagels and water for Team Freedom runners.

0800 – Walk to the starting line.

0830 – Race begins – run/walk with pride – run close to St. Margaret’s Church for Team Freedom support and photos.

1000 – Team photo at South End Pavilion.

1030 – Celebratory drink at the Parker House in Sea Girt.

Please remember to sign up so we can order shirts for everyone.

Please encourage others to run with Team Freedom – our mission is to spread the word about the true meaning of Memorial Day so the more runners/walkers the better.
